Tell us all about "sir" - education committee begins sex teacher probe

BANGKOK: -- Teachers and students at Thailand's prestigious Suan Kularb school have been urged to come forward with information about a teacher currently in custody.

The request comes from a secretary in the education ministry as an investigation is carried out into the affairs of Biology teacher Sarot Meephai, 33, currently held in Bangkok on charges of uploading and sharing obscene material on the internet reported Sanook.

Karun Sakunpradit said that the investigative committee expects to complete its work within 15 days. Sarot has already has his teaching license suspended and the committee will decide whether there is enough evidence to warrant revoking his license altogether.

The move comes after Suan Kularb director Vithoon Wong-in said that the teacher had admitted to having paid sex with students at other schools.

Karun said that teachers and students with information should come forward so that the committee can complete its work.

Hes admitted having paid sex with students which should be enough to take his license immediately and only a police investigation should be ongoing .

He admits paid sex with students from OTHER SCHOOLS, quick circle the wagons to protect the reputation of a ' prestigious ' one.

I say throw the book at him...relocate him to an inactive post...that will sure teach him not to molest kids...after all, it works for the police and military here...
