Both cases involved seizures on Pethkasem Road heading south.In the first case six Isan mules were nabbed with 260 packets of compressed ganja worth 2.6 million baht, reported Daily News. Arrested were Sangkhom Phromdee, 43, Woraphop Maichai, 38, Chaipacha Jaikaew, 36,who all hail from Ubon, as well as Wirat Mongkhonsiri, 48, from Kalasin, Wira Chomdorn, 34, Wira Chomdorn, 34, from Korat and Winnu Thongthip, 36.Two pick-ups and a Toyota car with false plates were also seized. The gang had been paid 100,000 baht to take the drugs from Nakorn Panom to Chumporn.In the second case 400,000 Ya Ba tablets worth 120 million baht were found in a lorry laden with salt. However have a look at the table of misery and the money they were getting paid for smuggling it and how many times have they done it before. No sympathy from this camp. It's the unfortunate mules that are duped as always. If you dangle money in front of somebody who has nothing, you will get plenty of victims....
