callaway Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Does anyone know where I can purchase a petrol driven leaf blower. I am in the Surin area.
malt25 Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Our local hardware shop carries them. They are part of a chain. I'll inquire there today if they have a shop in your area. Cheers..... Mal.
malt25 Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Sorry, my mistake, they only have electric. Poor quality, I think my wife's mother could blow harder.
Tagaa Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Look for a shop with a "Stihl" sign out front. They are few & far between, but I have seen 2 in my time in Issan. They usually have chainsaws mostly, but the last one I was in had a blower. They were quite proud of it. Price was about 34,000 Bt, IIRC.
callaway Posted July 13, 2016 Author Posted July 13, 2016 Thanx guys. 34000 is a fair bit over the top Next time I go to Aussie I will buy one and break it down and bring back in bag. So much cheaper there.

Hey , I recently bought one back from Australia. No need to break it down or anything. I got a quality Stihl one. The dealer new all about taking it overseas or on a plane. I got a new one still in the original box. Not too heavy . They sealed the box and put an official sticker on it re never been fueled or started etc. Easy at the airport with this sticker on. Locals in my village are amazed when I crank it up and do the business. !!!
Kurt Levy Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 A favorable price tag and excellent blowing and vacuuming ability make a stihl leaf blower a top rated bit of kit.
