PM Prayut expresses concerns over anti-referendum moves

This is not your country. You are here as guests of Thailand. Better you say nothing; and let Thai people solve their own problems.

Best then you keep your mouth shut and never comment or have an opinion on anything outside your room. Prayuth would be proud of your attitude towards telling people to shut up. I see you are against opinions just like the junta.

All junta-head needs to do is state publicly that he wants the referendum to succeed.

It's that simple. Given that greater than 99% of Thais love him so much, his popularity is certain to carry the day.

The results are already in, it's 99% for and anyone who questions the results will be arrested.

Had high hopes when he slammed his fist down and said I'm taking over, thinking they'd not only stop the squabbling but root out the bad guys through Thai society and try to move the country forward before taking a back seat. What's happened/changed? In recent times the people have never been so oppressed, economy scuppered, corruption same or worse, drugs worse, crime WAY up, gang violence endemic, monks running amok, driving standards worse than ever, feral dogs continue to roam the streets (nothing shouts 3rd world more than this), Thai TV continues to convey that guns, violence and the bad treatment of women is ok, adjustment of one's attitude if you don't think like me, silly non-alcohol days... on and on...

They've missed a trick in edging Thailand towards semi-greatness. Time to do some good, chaps.

Once there was a silly old ram

Thought he'd punch a hole in a dam

No one could make that ram, scram

He kept buttin' that dam

'Cause he had high hopes, he had high hopes

He had high apple pie, in the sky hopes

I think you have made a mistake this isn't the English teachers forum.

The Junta are becoming increasingly paranoid and alarmist, and oppressive in nature too, opposition is good and healthy, it's part of the checks and balances.

Right now there's NO checks and balances, there's no transparency, there's NO reconciliation, the snouts on the trough before were despicable, but they could be removed, democratically, and also by a coup, the current snouts cannot be removed till they just can't eat any more and they get tired, and that's a long way off.

Well mate the only thing that has changed is now they are first ones too the trough and how much they get before letting others in for a crack at it.

So your list of opportunity's totally lost by the junta to make massive improvements have just let to fall apart.

Look at the bright side he fixed the lotto price and a few less chairs on a few beaches, WOW man impressive huh?

Then there's the Chinese tanks purchase's and the submarine with no deep water and no dock, but hey there's a few junta huggers that love this pelican and keep trying to convince others that he is the savior of Thailand.

I think it's safe bet, that if Thais could solve their own problems, they would have done so, and the country would not now be facing the the world's only military coup d'etat government.

Worth remembering that the only thing necessary for evil to triumph, is for good men to do nothing. As you would doubtless prefer.
