Train service between Yala and Su-ngai Kolok resumes on Wednesday



YALA: -- Train service between Yala province and Su-ngai Kolok district will resume as normal on Wednesday after the completion of major repairs following a bomb explosion on July 4 which caused serious damages to the rail track resulting in the suspension of service.

The repairs were undertaken by workers of the State Railway of Thailand with the help from public volunteers, officials from Ruesoh district and local administration bodies as well as military personnel.

After the completion of the maintenance work, residents living in areas between Balor and Ruesoh stations participated in a mass prayer to call for peace and safety in train travelling.
