I'm so confused in how to say this phrase in Thai. Something that means "We want different things in life at the moment" or "We desire different lifestyles now"

With the vocabulary I already know this is the best phrase I can string together, but I know it's far from being correct. - ใคร่คนละอย่างความเป็นอยู่

How would I correctly phrase this?

To put it into a Thai perspective you might want to refer to jit jai, จิตใจ, mind set, such as

จิตใจไม่เหมือนกัน (not of the same mind)

and then add a reference to the two people in question

So it wouldn't just be:

ตอนนี้เราอยากมีชีวิตต่าง

?

And then of course perhaps explain a little more with an example as to why you want different lives.

But yeah, that's just the phrase I'd probably use with the vocabulary I know, no doubt there is a better one :-P

Edit:

มีความด้องการที่ด่างกัน is what my wife said though :-P So that'd probably be a better one lol, she said that what I said above isn't really in the style that Thai people would use (But that they would probably understand, although she might just be being polite there lol).

Can you elaborate on 'ด้องการที่ด่างกัน' - specifically 'ด้อง' and 'ด่าง;

Should be ต not ด for both (whoops, spelling Thai isn't my strength lol).

Wife is busy, I can get her to explain more later if you want? Although I assume that with the spelling mistake fixed, so ต้อง want and ต่าง different, everything becomes clearer?

 "We desire different lifestyles now" เรามีไลฟ์สไตล์ไม่ตรงกัน

 

normally when thai would like to break the relationship. We say 

เข้ากันไม่ได้   or  ทัศนคติไม่ตรงกัน (Different attitude)

 

 

We want different things . เรามีความต้องการแตกต่างกัน
