BBJ
I have just stripped my bike down of modification parts and put the bike back to standard to sell. This morning I sold my Ohlins S46DR1 shock which was installed by Kawasaki, however, the buyer now wants a refund because he is under the impression it is for an er6. I am more than happy to do so, but I was under the impression the shock was good for both, as well as the BMW GS800. Length and spec are same. He seems to be commenting on the part number difference. Is there a difference as I will advertise it on an er6 specific forum if in fact it is specific? Thanks
OmegaRacer
If the measurements are the same and the bikes weight about the same, then I wouldn't see a problem.
NormanW
The same.
Dutchbike
There's a slight difference in stroke and length while the spring is the same type ( see attached) Kawasaki might have sold you the wrong type :-) Info taken from Ohlins Asia website. Nickymaster
Yes I had the one for er6 and Versys. Versys one is slightly longer.
