Story by Albert Jack

PATTAYA: -- A huge thunderstorm lasting over an hour last night has left parts of Pattaya flooded this morning with standing water failing to drain away adequately.

Areas affected are the two-hundred meter stretch in front of the Thai Namthip Company on Railway Road, parts of Kao Talo, the area around Soi Thammasamaggi Temple and around Pattaya Railway Station. Beach Road, in the area of Pattaya Police Station, is also flooded.

In some areas the standing water is close to one meter in depth.

Just build build build without storm drainage - they either don't care or just don't get it! I guess both.

Who does not get wet when in Pattaya ?

Yes, when very wet, the whore houses are full.

I hope they warn the tourist/visitors as well, not just the Pattayans
