Nangfah Owners Claim Underage Prostitute Acted Alone and Used Fake ID

PATTAYA:-- At 5.30am on July 23 Ms Paranisa (Aka Dear or Jae Sa), the owner of Nangfah posted on her Facebook page an admission that her bar had been charged on Jan 8 this year of having a girl, under the age of eighteen, working as a prostitute.

But she wanted to make clear and explain that Ms Sommai was in charge of the bar at the time and the girl (name withheld) applied for a job as a PR lady in the bar. She had provided her ID card.

She said the girl regularly entertained customers and sometimes went out on ‘dates’ with them after the bar had closed

On the day in January her bar was raided Ms Pranisa said the girl had contacted one of her regular customers claiming she had pawned her phone because she didn’t have money. She asked the man to help her redeem it by paying the broker 500 baht. In return she offered him sex.

After he readily agreed she had asked to leave work early and go with the man to the pawn shop, but was reminded that her contract meant if she didn’t finish her shift her wages would be deducted 400 baht. She told her helpful friend this and, again, he readily agreed to cover this cost and so paid the bar 400 baht, in order for her wages not to be deducted.

Soon after they left the police raided the bar and arrested Ms Sommai on underage prostitution charges. She admitted the charges and Ms Pranisa said she went to the police station to bail out her friend and end the matter.

She emphasized that the young, unnamed girl, has never mentioned the bar’s name to the police and has not admitted anything. The case is currently awaiting trail.

Trust me dear reader, this is a story I too have heard a thousand times before. But, I press on to conclusion.

It gives one reassurance in his felow humans to see this decent gent so willing to help someone in a tight financial situation.

on her Facebook page an admission that her bar had been charged on Jan 8 this year of having a girl, under the age of eighteen, working as a prostitute.----She didn't know the girl was under age.

The Girl had asked the man to help her redeem (her phone) by paying the broker 500 baht. In return she offered him sex.

She (the owner)has asked for understanding from the press as she really, really has never done anything wrong and ‘this reporting may affect the good reputation of her bar.’----OP

.

May affect the good reputation of her bar I think there will be standing room only when she opens the door tomorrow.......coffee1.gif

As the owner sh is still responsible irrespective if she was on or off the premises at the time.

400 baht barfine and 500 baht short-time.

The stories they create to sugar coat it.... rolleyes.gif

As the owner sh is still responsible irrespective if she was on or off the premises at the time.

If the owner can prove that the girl used a fake ID-Card at the time she was applying for a job, she might have a good excuse.

The girl with the fake ID-Card would be in big trouble.

But living in Thailand for nearly 2 decades, I think that the Police will use this matter to nail the bar owner and shake off the charges against them.

It gives one reassurance in his felow humans to see this decent gent so willing to help someone in a tight financial situation.

From the time frames involved he may well have been the rat that reported this to the BIB.

...obviously a load of crock....

...and a glaring omission ....how old is she really....???

....a child....selling sex....through her bar...

...making 500 baht a day....if she is lucky.....

...a child with not enough money to pay her phone bill....

...it takes someone with connections and money to get a fake I.D. .....one would think.....

...and wouldn't you think that one threat against the child...or her family....would force her to comply with whatever the owner/boss would dictate...???

tne "not my fault" defence

works like a charme

Fake ID card? How did they find out the girl is underaged?

If this fact can be found out, why did the business owner not bother to make the checking before employing?

he readily agreed to cover this cost and so paid the bar 400 baht, in order for her wages not to be deducted.

I bet he did cheesy.gif

This story is getting more hilarious by the day !!

If he hasn't already done so, Chakthip had better change his phone number real quick!

He also needs to ensure a quick and ethical conclusion to the Nangfa karaoke bar incident since its owner (Paranisa Chainapanichkul) has directly involved him in the unfolding melodrama that may now include "human trafficking"!

Paranisa could prove to be as much of a loose cannon as the other chook presently mixing it with the RTP.

Nope

Crikey. Even the underage hookers look old and past it these days. blink.png

' the Anti-corruption brigade from BKK' should have a permanent office in Pattaya. The local BIB are the major criminals hereabouts.

"P.R. lady" that's a new one to me.

I'll at it to the list........social worker, service lady, shop manager, floor manager, stage manager............
