I am based in Khon Kaen on a non o marriage Visa. I have been leaving the country every 3 months for the extension as it was from Suvannaket without 400k.

The Non O expiry is August 5. I flew in on June 18 and the last stamp says i am permitted until September 15.

My question is: If I go over the border to Vientiane and fly back into Bangkok on August 4th, will they stamp my passport until November 4th.. Essentially giving me 3 more months?

Thank you!

Also, would i need to stay a night in Vientiane?

If the enter before date on your visa is August 5th and you enter on the 4th you will get a new 90 day entry,

You could also cross back into the country by land and get the 90 day entry. There is no requirement for you to fly in to get it.

  • If you enter on the August 4th they'll give you 90 days until November 1st,

You don't need to stay overnight.

You could do it by land border too.

Thanks guys.. I thought I had to fly in for some reason. That's great news, I can drive to the border then drive home same day.
