Well, we can openly buy crap condos legally but who wants to live in a flat after coming from a nice house in the UK. There are ways for us farangs to own a house including the land though in Thailand. -

British Man Arrested for Smuggling £1M Cannabis from Thailand
There are no legal restrictions on owning or transporting cannabis within Thailand. Your conclusions after a 'quick' look are entirely wrong. Best not to post about something you don't understand. -

I did my 90 day report in Jomtien this morning. All she wanted was TM47 and copy of passport ID page and visa extension stamp. Was funny because the sign said to give: - TM47 form - copy of passport ID page - copy of visa - copy of extension stamp - copy of last entry stamp - copy of TM30 -

Truck Crash on Expressway: 16 Vehicles Wrecked, 17 Injured
I hate it when they refer to "brake failure" it sounds like the brakes didn't come on. On all these trucks the brakes are permanently on. Should everything be working correctly, then the brakes can be taken off. Hence the system is always OK. It should read, brakes worn out or components worn or broken, hence not stopping the truck. -

Chinese Woman Arrested at Phuket Airport For Using Other Person’s Passport
in their Chinese kibbutz there's a bunch of ready-to-go passports. Grab one and fly wherever you fancy. Nobody cares, It was the second time IO actually applied that recognition technic to those particular tourists and found certain differences. First years I got the similar problem with Thais. -

Care Homes Urged to Embrace Transgender Identities in Elderly Care
Yes it's a fairly obvious, common sense solution. Not farangs. Liberals. Thailand is blessed to be mainly devoid of Liberals in the western (now hijacked) sense of the word, except in the expat population and they are smart enough to ignore those. -

How often do you get your ACs cleaned?
Well I must have imagined that my AC was not working well and had to drop temp setting lower and lower. Thought maybe low on refrigerant. Got someone to come check, a husband and wife team, checked refrigerant levels and ok. So cleaned indoor and outdoor fins. Lady called me out and showed me how dirty outdoor fins were. Amazing how well it worked after that. But, according to you, I must have been imagining it because it doesn't really affect it.. -

British Man Arrested for Smuggling £1M Cannabis from Thailand
Im in the UK ( Bristol) right now and have friends who smoke (never my thing) and the import weed they used to buy was mainly from California but in the last year or so its been more Thai Import. It’s of similar quality and much cheaper , I hope that clears things up for you. No, hearsay never clears up anything. How do you know how much escapes Customs' attention? You don't. -

Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part II
We don't agree in that case. I know first hand of businesses not only here in Thailand but also in the UK that turn over millions but are operated by self employed people. My UK management company turns over 3.5 million Pounds per year but the business is run by the self employed owner. Here in Thailand, my wife worked for four years for a major tourist attraction that had over 15 staff, each was hired as an hourly worker but everyone worked 40 hours per week. The business was run by a husband and wife team, both of whom are self employed.....my wife was responsible for her own taxes, because of the hourly worker status. -
