August 11, 201610 yr You might want to indicate nationality and if going to have banking there also - Bangkok Bank has special transfer options for those from US/UK that might be attractive if from there.
August 11, 201610 yr Bangkok Bank has a page on its website to assist foreigners, still residing abroad, who wish to open a bank account in Thailand.To the best of my knowledge, they are the only bank which does. I have no particular knowledge re Phuket.
