Government confirms no graft in Village Fund Project

BANGKOK, 17 August 2016 (NNT) - The government has confirmed that an official probe has found no irregularities in the Village Fund Project.

Minister attached to the Prime Minister Office, Suwaphan Tanyuvardhana said that 2,100 programs have been proposed to join in the government’s initiative to strengthen the country’s economic base or the Pracha Rat Project, and no irregularities have been found.

Mr. Suwaphan said that the Pracha Rat Project has been operating for nearly six months and has approved funding to 63,000 out of 79,000 village funds, for a total of 31 billion baht from allocated funds of 35 billion baht.

He added that some programs, have not been operating smoothly due to problems about fund transfers and budget disbursement as local residents, who are members, have not succeeded in opening bank accounts to receive the money.

The PM’s Office Minister went on to say that all village fund offices in all regions have been ordered to work with the leaders of the village fund networks, to speed up the process.

The government confirms no irregularities:cheesy::cheesy:

They seriously expect people to believe that??????

I love the smell of reforms in the morning.

The fox committee has investigated the foxes guarding the hen house and has found no irregularities.

They have probed their-selves, what could be wrong with that.

No graft, in a scheme at village-level, then either human-nature has fundamentally changed or someone else didn't look too hard. ;)

" no irregularities have been found. "

Did anyone even go out and check?

Thank heavens for that! Now I can finally relax again!

"...The government has confirmed that an official probe has found no irregularities in the Village Fund Project..."

Even though the Pracha Rat Project has been operating for nearly six months, the Minister attached to the Prime Ministers Office is reported as saying some programs "...have not been operating smoothly due to problems about fund transfers and budget disbursement...", because some of the intended recipients of the money "...have not succeeded in opening bank accounts...". So, who's looking after all that cheese, (err, I mean money)?

Seems more like Smella Rat!

Really! Nothing untoward reported! Been running 6 months.......it must mean that everyone involved is getting their corner, a sign of great organisation, obviously run by the green machine!:gigglem::wai:

Our Poo Yai has a lovely new pick-up......

Please do not be so negative about all of the 2,100 programs.

Funny but I thought there were more Generals then that ?

Well they would say that wouldn't they...

In my part of Chaiyaphum province no Villages have received a single Baht from them that I'm aware of...

There is a reason that Isaan supported the Shinawatra's & that reason is that however corrupt they were, for the first time ever Isaan's poor actually got something from a government, now it's back to normal again...

Now if yingluck did that, it would be called a populas policy losing the country billions of baht in order to buy votes or maybe get a new bill/referendum passed. But we all understand, if this government says there is no more corruption, then it is so.
