My retirement extension is due next month so I am getting the paperwork together.  I went to the British Embassy website to find the correct amount to pay for the income confirmation letter which is 2350 baht as they use 47 to the pound, plus 100 baht for EMS postal service for return of paperwork.

But whereas in all previous years there were details of the  postal order needed to pay for the letter, and the payment details, post office to pay at etc, there is now only  a pay-by-credit-card form.  Is the credit card payment route mandatory now?
