PATTANI — One of five suspects sought in connection with last month’s attacks was reportedly being held Monday by the military in the Deep South.

 

Pattani resident Abdulkadir Saleah (transcribed from Thai) was arrested Saturday for allegedly firebombing the Lee Mart Super Wholesale Building in Trang province on Aug. 12.

What ever happen to those old and elderly ex-communist suspects. This latest suspect will probably be another bogus claim and the investigation will fade into oblivion until the next bomb.

"Winyat Chatmontree, attorney from Free Thai Legal Aid (FTLA), reported that the Military Court of Bangkok on Tuesday, 23 August 2016, granted bail for 15 suspects accused of violating the junta’s ban on gatherings of more than five people for being members of an alleged anti-junta political group called ‘Revolutionary Front for Democracy’

The 15 will be released from Bangkok Remand Prison and the Women's Correctional Institute of Bangkok at around 7 pm, Winyat reported."
