mitebbots
Not sure if Chuwi H10 will have SIM slot? Would be nice to find an inexpensive tablet with either Windows 10 or Android that has data. 10000 baht or less. http://en.chuwi.com/product/items/Chuwi-Hi10.html
sumrit
Apart from more expensive tablets I couldn't find a tablet with a sim card slot but, being able to tether to my phone anyway, it wasn't at the top of my priority list. I bought this model fairly recently and am really pleased with it. Cube iWork 10 Flagship Ultrabook Tablet PC http://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_362211.html?wid=21. With a Gearbest promotion I paid around 7000 baht, which included the detachable keyboard. I think that is very good value. It's similar to the model you highlighted and possibly made by the same manufacturer. When I looked at the model/build numbers in the 'about tablet' info it appears they're actually made by TCL. I've bought three of their TV's for family members and have been pleased with all of them.

mitebbots
tether to phone works, thanks for that. iWork10 and H10 look like the same machine? http://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_399914.html?wid=21 http://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_362211.html?wid=21 Edited September 12, 2016 by mitebbots
gjoo888
Check out the Samsung Galaxy 3v, it lists for under 5,000 Baht and has a sim card slot and an SD card slot for more storage. Unless you plan on doing graphic intensive gaming, it's fine for everyday tasks. I have one and couldn't be more pleased for what I use it for. http://www.lazada.co.th/samsung-galaxy-tab-3-v-black-4388596.html?gclid=COzMuOHniM8CFdiIaAodHPgO6w&s_kwcid=AL!3152!3!108054400461!b!!g!!_cat%3Alazada.co.th&utm_source=google&utm_medium=sem_non_brand&utm_campaign=[SDS-000000000000-00000-00000-0]: All Website&utm_content=[SDS-000000000000-00000-00000-0]: EN All Website_xxto0000snggt0000&utm_term=[SDS-000000000000-00000-00000-0]: EN All Website_xxto0000snggt0000_c_aud-155560556901:dsa-19959388920_108054400461&ef_id=V9YWuAAAAXNyfC@O:20160912024512:s

thaihome
I have used a Samsung Galaxy Tab A every day for the past year. Web browsing, email, Kindle reader, etc. Hardly ever turn the computer on and have put the Kindle away. Would highly recommend it and I believe it's right at 10k baht (I got as a gift so not sure what was paid last year). TH

I bought the iworks10 but bought the H10 case to go with it by mistake. Although both have 10.1 inch screens their overall sizes are slightly different (the H10 is slightly shorter) so don't fit each other's cases. Gary A
I had a Pipo tablet. It cost about $300 so it wasn't a real cheap unit. I was impressed with it and it could use a mouse. It worked great for about a year until my wife's nephew dropped it. About the only really irritating thing about it was all the Chinese apps and crap that I couldn't get rid of. It was fast and had a good camera.
