Confusion after a motorcycle was left on rail track in Sungai Kolok

NARATHIWAT: -- Two southern trains were delayed for 1-4 hours and another was cancelled after a motorcycle was on the rail track in Sungai Kolok district of Narathiwat on Thursday.

 

Thani Sawatdikul, driver of train No 464 which left Sungai Kolok for Phatthalung province, immediately stopped the train when he saw a motorcycle left on the rail track in Ban Saerayor of Tambon Paksaemat and quickly alerted security forces as he drove the train back to Sungai Kolok railway station.

 

An explosives ordnance disposal (EOD) unit was rushed to the scene to check the motorcycle for bomb. Nothing was found however.
