RATCHABURI— Four lucky cats were counting their remaining lives Monday in a new home after 30 others died in a house fire over the weekend.

 

A 58-year-old school teacher’s large collection of cats and old books proved a combustible mix in a home with old wiring. Thirty of Somporn Feungfoo’s 40 kitties died Saturday when her home went up in flames.

A  sad story for anyone and particularly if you are a cat lover, however, I imagine the scent of 40 pussies in a cat house would be rather  overwhelming. Perhaps madam can scale down her collection to ten felines in future?

A collection of cats and old books? At first I thought it was a museum with taxidermy feline.
RIP...er...poor little cats. And now back to those PEOPLE who drowned in the Chaophraya River yesterday.
