BANGKOK: -- Three members of a Chinese credit card gang were arrested by Lumpini police Sunday.

The men who had come into Thailand as tourists via Don Muang on the 15th of September were using fake Mastercards to buy goods, reported Daily News.

Two had entered the iStudio phone shop in Central World. After the men left with an iPhone purchase Kasigorn bank checked the transaction and found it was fraudulent. Police were called and one man was arrested outside Big C using CCTV and he soon implicated the others.

Facing charges of credit card fraud are Han Chang, 24, Hong Xiang Chen, 30 and Yangang Zhu, 39. The Chinese men were staying in two rooms at the M2 de Bangkok Hotel.

Had admitted that they were responsible for more than 100,000 in illegal purchases.

These guys are just so quick, or extremely luck to have some dumb criminals present themselves.:stoner:

So did they spend 100,000 in one transaction at the iStudio shop or had they got away with a few previous purchases?

If the former, well done Kasikorn Bank and the RTP.

Those kind of " tourists " are plenty around, they're here for sun, send and scam...

I'm just wandering that jails in Thailand must be bursting at the seams by

now housing all these hundreds of ATM scammers....
