Woman lost at sea now found in her room

PATTAYA: -- At 2.30am, on the morning of October 5, Pattaya police received reports that a woman had gone missing at the sea in the swimming zone on Beach Road, Soi 7.

 

A diver team and Sawang Boriboon Medics attended the scene. Witness, Miss Lee, said that she and ten other friends were ‘hanging out’ at the beach when they saw a woman, wearing a pink t-shirt and shorts, take off her sneakers and walk out into the sea.

 

They watched her disappear into the darkness, followed and called out but received no reply and so called for the police.

 

As a full-scale search was underway a female friend of the missing woman approached officers to inform them that her unnamed friend had, in fact, returned to the shore and was now ‘resting in her room.’

 

She told officers that the girl had an argument with her boyfriend and appeared to be only attention seeking.

 

She has apologized to all concerned for the trouble she has caused.
