October 10, 20169 yr papa's fav dual sport tire be: Michelin Anakee III. Especially for the front. 4000baht @ 21"-90/90. Good for dirt-road pounding & in da wet. Good longevity, per YouTube reviews Don't fergit the balancing beads. Edited October 10, 20169 yr by papa al

Thxalot If you search in Google for "Mitas E-07 Tires Thailand" then you see the Mitas Facebook page as first or second ... they have contact details... The Mitas E-07 maybe look rough, but they roll really smooth. If you ride on the tarmac you could believe you have standard road tires... And off-road they perform pretty well. In Thai "clay" mud they sometimes outperform full MX tires... (full MX/off-road tires pickup the clay between the knobbies and get even slipper) Edited October 11, 20169 yr by Mr.Poko
October 12, 20169 yr The K60s are terrible on wet tarmac, especially the ones with the solid band which acts like a slick. I tested some recently and while off road they are great and dry tarmac, in the wet they are scary. I also had MT60 Corsa which are a great tire, but last as long as a chocolate fireguard. VeeRubber actually do some decent tires although a few tires snobs will doscount them. Mitas as mentioned and also Shinko are decent. I have 2 rear 17" Heidenau K60s with less than 2500k if anyone is interested. Good for 11k plus. Edited October 12, 20169 yr by BBJ

October 15, 20169 yr If wet road conditions are a concern, consider tires compounded with fine silica. Michelin pioneered this technology and now include it even on some their modestly priced scooter tires. Other manufacturers are trying it too. papa likes riding in the rain. [& snow last week in Colorado] Don't like falling. ...brand-X tires, not worth it.
