ROI ET: -- A buffalo herder in Roi Et in the north east of Thailand drowned in front of her child on Wednesday.

Kanya (Surname withheld), 44, could not swim.

Relatives said she had gone out with her child aged eight on Wednesday evening to round up her buffalos. But on the way back she had fallen into some water and drowned.

Villagers raced to the scene of the accident but found her already dead and called foundation workers to retrieve the body and take her to hospital.

Police are talking to relatives before they release the body for cremation.

Why is it necessary to show a photo of a  blurred corpse on a table, with all the group standing around

It doesn't make the story anymore news worthy

Learning to swim should be a must-do   for all.

Correct.
Especially a few pages related to the emergency services dare to publish 'non-blurred' pics of scattered brains after traffic accidents.
Much more 'newsworthy'. [emoji6]
