TripAdvisor to Stop Selling Tickets to Many Animal Attractions

This be very very good :)

I find it ironic that many visitors to Thailand travel all the way up to Chiang Mai to ride on an Elephant.

Elephants do not naturally like people, they naturally stay away from us as we are predatory.

The only way to get an Elephant to do something it naturally does not want to do, is by controlling it with fear of punishment.

If the Mahoots do not punish the Elephants then they lose this fear and can be very dangerous.

Constant fear control an animal they fears us and in all probability hates us.

An Elephant is by far the most dangerous creature in the world to humans.

Good news. However, the majority of visitors to some of the worst animal confinement  businesses in Thailand purchase their tickets by  means other than  Trip Adviser.  In any case there are  visitors from some regions who do not care about animal  welfare. It is a nice gesture, but  somewhat useless.
