Photo: Eakkapop Thongtub PHUKET: -- Officers from the Military Circle 41 and Vichit Police arrested 22 people suspected of being involved in gambling during a raid on the Step Up pub in Vichit on Saturday night (Oct 15). The raid, which came after reports circulated that the venue was used for gambling, saw 600 betting slips and over B16,000 seized. Maj Sathit Naikun of the Military Circle 41 and Wichit Police Chief Col Nikorn Somsuk led officers to raid the Step Up pub in Soi Jaroensap on the Muangtong-Khaokhad Rd in Vichit at 8:30pm on Saturday night after residents reported that people gathered inside the venue to participate in illegal football gambling.
