BANGKOK — All national museums and historical parks nationwide will be open for free for everyone – Thais and foreigners alike – now through the end of January.

 

In Bangkok, that means free access to places such as the main Bangkok National Museum, Royal Elephant National Museum and National Museum of Royal Barges, according to an announcement Thursday by the Fine Arts Department.

But doesn't appear to cover entrance to National Parks, unless it is extended beyond this.

Thereafter, foreigners will have to pay a flat 1000 baht to make up for any losses.

 

Sounds pretty fair ..........for Thailand

Easy to make up the shortfall.

Dual pricing is still in effect.

Thais pay nothing, foreigners pay double of nothing.

Wow that should get them running there. Free but all other costs have increased.
