BANGKOK, 22 October 2016 (NNT) - Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Permanent Secretary Jirachai Moonthongroy visited and provided morale support to the authorities around the Grand Palace.

Mr. Jirachai thanked the government personnel for providing conveniences to mourners at service points outside the Reserve Officers Training Corps, Saranrom Palace and Phra Chettuphon temple.

The Command Center for Monitoring Situations has set up service points to facilitate the people since 18 October by providing food, drinking water, toilets, first aid and parking spaces.

The 16 service points are located at Sanam Luang, Silpakorn University, Thammasat University, ROTC headquarters, Satriwitthaya school, Royal Turf Club, Royal Rattanakosin Hotel, among others. They are under the supervision of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the Prime Minister’s Office and the Administration Division for Maintaining Peace and Order around the Grand Palace.
