BANGKOK, 25 October 2016 (NNT) – Thais in foreign countries have continued to take part in activities honoring His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. 

In Buenos Aires of Argentina, Thai Consul-General Sawangwat Srimahakot led members of the office and Thais in the city to perform merit making in devotion to His Majesty the late King. A book of condolence set up at the consulate has seen signatures from high level Argentinean government officials as well as expatriate Thais. 

In Lima of Peru, Dech Mahasaranont, Thai Consul-General to Lima, chaired the inauguration of a condolence book set up at the consulate before reporting that the Peruvian president has voiced his deep sympathies towards the Kingdom’s loss. 

At the Chinese city of Shanghai, Thai Consul-General Parichat Luepaiboonphan led over 700 people, comprising; Thai business owners, students and expatriates, in making merit at Long Wha Temple and taking part in a prayer performed by 9 monks.
