Found this   fella ( assume man) outside, great feet with  hooks  and  big mandibles..............staff  boy said "bites"......not sure if he meant "to eat" or "eats  you" pretty thing, dont know  what?

IIRC it is part of the Leaf Footed species here in Thailand. Closely related to the True Bug species. Some get very big. The Cicada species is very interesting as well. There are lots of very interesting insects here and many are quite large.

 

You know an insect forum would be a cool section IMHO.

Its a  Longicorn of  sorts, trying to find out which one  now

Great stuff. I was big into entomology early in my life and still remain interested to the date. I also like Arachnids and Reptiles.  

 

 

A can of raid would fix it.
