What most of what people from the U.K. and the EU Countries know about President Trump comes to them via false propaganda news manufactured by the Left Wing American News Media which constitutes 98% of all the American News Media... It is not possible for you U.K. and EU folks to have any real understanding of what this past year was about with the SYSTEM being challenged as never before. 

 

First as I have posted many times here on TVF ... Today was the result of a Nationalistic Populist Movement that Donald Trump latched onto almost accidentally  ...  Trump did not create this movement.  Rather Trump saw what was developing and decided to lead the parade.   The U.S. Government and the 'to be former' President have been aloof elitists dictating how Americans have to live - totally forgetting the tenets of the U.S. Constitution.  Today the Great Silent Majority said 'ENOUGH' of this craziness.   We are supposed to be a representative republic not a elitist oligarchy.  We are a Constitutional Republic with specific Amendments to protect us FROM the Government excesses.   There is not a single word in the Constitution about 'wealth redistribution' ... nor any aspects of 'Socialism' as part and parcel of out governmental system... In short 'The Founders of the USA did not want that and today We American citizens of 2016 said 'We want NO MORE IT' ... The USA is a Capitalist country with all the trappings ... not some European socialist experiment.  Individual and Personal Freedoms count more than Government Systems ... the point so often missed by Foreigners who have no understanding of what the USA is about.  Power Corrupts and in the case of the past eight years and more it has become Corruption - Absolute.    In the past eight years a non representative government evolved and 'We Citizens who work and pay for it - we are now saying 'WE want no more of it' ... Today is another Brexit Moment... we are casting of the shackles of 'out of control corrupt governance' that is operating without our consent.   It will take years to repair the damage done to our country - but we will do it. 

I'm hearing reports about how Democrat supporters are very angry with Trump supporters in some areas. We could be in for some fireworks.

I just wonder how those republican members who despised Trump publicly are now gonna react.

I just hope all the hysterical and thin skinned just at least sit back and relax a little.  Listen to his acceptance speech,  and try to believe what he says. Freaking out on TVF or on the streets will make you look like immature fools.  They were both bad choices but they were in fact who was left at the end of 18 months.  I think I will leave the only person on my ignore list in six years still on it a bit longer.  I wish the USA good luck and hope for some good changes.

I have written on this many times.  The America news media had become a Leftist organization and became so aligned with the Obama --- hoped to be H. Clinton Government as to have become an internal news media system - Pravada style ... Media Polls have become an art form of manipulation to move the public opinion in the direction the government wants to become reelected.  Media Polls were and will still use Over Sampling of Democrats ... a higher percentage of Democrats in the sampled group... The sample was often contained minority groups thought to be aligned with the Democrats but the poll results were represented as a broad scale sampling.  As a result News Media sponsored polls became exaggerations, embellishments, and out right fabrications with 'engineered results'
 

In recent weeks there have been balanced polls representing a large sample of Democrats, Republicans and Independents in equal measure.  These polls showed Trump winning by a wide margin ... But the Government aligned News Media totally ignored these polls and refused to publicize them...

Only 3 votes and AK was never a deal breaker, always been a red state.

 

The decisive numbers are yet to come but I reckon it's a done deal, the polls were hopelessly wrong and Donald is having a serious OMG! moment. Hillary has gone off to bed; Podesta just addressed the gathered masses that there to go get some sleep so will be no concession speech until tomorrow. Traditionally the loser calls the winner to concede BEFORE any official call so what we are seeing is the Democrats having there own 'hanging chad' moment... as if it really matters.
