The US sure needs some effective third parties. Both Repubs and Dems aren't different enough the make a difference. Not a statesman between them. My experience in Canada. We had one effective third party, the New Democrats vs the Liberals and the Progressive Conservatives (whew!). They've moved far to the middle to protect their voters. Homogenised, The Greens are pretty electable but not enough so as to form a coalition govt. The other third parties are province-based, like Bloc Quebecois. Canada needs a new electable third party.
