jpinx
There are a couple of active threads running about Brexit, but this thread is not restricted to UK's possible exit, it is for constructive discussion about the structure known as the European Union. Given the Brexit vote, the mutterings of significant numbers of dis-enchanted europeans, and now the repercussions of the Trump vote, should there not be some positive action by EU to reform drastically, or should the member states repeal the treaties binding the EU together? This affects many countries, not only UK with it's Brexit. Netherlands, Denmark, Italy and other EU countires have significant numbers of people supporting an exit. Here's some interesting and up-to-date background. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-11-13/chaos-ensues-europe-splinters-response-trump-uk-france-hungary-snub-eu-emergency-mee http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-11-14/eirexit-coming http://www.bbc.com/news/election-us-2016-37935120 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/11/10/italys-prime-minister-could-be-next-victim-of-populist-backlash/ Edited 11 hours ago by jpinx Link to comment
