Accident Man Survives 100-Metre Cliff Fall as Girlfriend Watches in Horror

A man has miraculously survived a harrowing fall down a 100-metre cliff at a scenic mountain viewpoint in southern Thailand, as his girlfriend looked on helplessly in terror. The incident occurred at approximately 07:55 on 7 May, at Khao Lae Viewpoint in Sadao District, Songkhla Province, a popular location known for its panoramic views of sunrise and sea mist. The victim, identified as Mr Nabi, 20, from Pattani Province, was visiting the viewpoint early in the morning with his girlfriend to watch the sunrise. According to reports, he slipped near the edge of the Heo Lan cliff, tumbling down the steep slope before becoming lodged in a tree roughly 100 metres below. Emergency services, including teams from the Maikhom, Sanakham, and Phatong Theottham rescue units, were alerted by horrified onlookers after the man’s girlfriend screamed for help. Due to the rugged terrain, rescuers had to hike nearly 800 metres up the mountain before descending carefully to retrieve the injured man. He was found unconscious but breathing, with visible injuries including a fractured arm and facial wounds. Rescue workers secured him in a stretcher and painstakingly carried him back up the mountainside in a delicate operation lasting nearly an hour. He was later transported to Sadao Hospital for emergency treatment. Witnesses said the area was slippery due to recent rainfall, and the cliffside was covered in wet grass and loose soil. One tourist, known only as Benz, told local reporters: “I heard a woman scream, then a thud. When we went to look, we saw him lying far below and having a seizure. We called for help immediately.” Local officials have urged visitors to exercise extreme caution while exploring high-risk viewpoints, particularly during the rainy season when footing can be treacherous. Nah, I'm not really concerned about LDL being @ 130. By itself borderline high, but to ratio of HDL, damn good @ 3.1 & 2.1 ... "The total cholesterol to HDL cholesterol ratio is calculated by dividing your total cholesterol level by your HDL (good) cholesterol level. A desirable ratio is 5:1, and an optimal ratio is 3.5:1. A higher ratio indicates a higher risk of heart disease" ... ..."The LDL/HDL ratio, calculated by dividing LDL cholesterol by HDL cholesterol, is a crucial indicator of cardiovascular health risk. A higher ratio indicates a higher risk of heart disease. Ideally, this ratio should be below 5. Lower ratios, particularly below 2, are considered beneficial" ... Then Trig / HDL ratio even better @ 0.87 ... "The Triglyceride to HDL (trig/HDL) ratio is a measure that helps assess the risk of heart disease and other related conditions. It's calculated by dividing your triglyceride level by your HDL cholesterol level. A lower ratio is generally considered more desirable, with a ratio of 2.0 or less being idea" ... -

Flat pack furniture assembly
