I drove through a full on highway police checkpoint going south on the 3 opposite Makro.

They had a massive number of bikes pulled over a few cars.

I don't seem to get stopped any more but it may have something to do with my shiny new dash cam.

It aways depends on what their briefing was each time. Sometimes it is to check ALL bikes for tax, licence etc plus some cars that might have out of date tax stickers or just look dodgy for whatever reason. Other times it might be just random checks on a whim and then sometimes every car and bike is at least stopped and questioned re this or that.

They where there for the last 2 Mondays or Tuesdays they seem to alternative northbound southbound, pulled me over first time wanted the full works second time I said "didn't we meet on the other side of the road last time" the woman officer said just licence I waved it in her general direction no way she could see if it was mine or not then waved me on.

Cooler and drier weather means more frequent traffic checkpoints as we roll through yet another 'high season'.
