Rimmer Posted December 23, 2016 Share Posted December 23, 2016 Marine Police crack down on Bali Hai parking scofflaws PATTAYA:-- Marine Police are getting tough with parking scofflaws at Bali Hai Pier, clamping the wheels of motorists who park in forbidden areas. Department spokesman Jan Krasaesom said the crackdown follows the military’s move to evict boat trailers from the South Pattaya pier. They don’t want cars and trucks taking the vacated spaces. Speedboat operators can enter the area between 4-10 a.m. but otherwise are not permitted to park there. The area is blocked off by metal gates. But strong-willed drivers have been opening the gates and parking inside anyway.
