When you are dealing with internet.

 

I went to the Sophon office off Soi Arunothai near Pattaya Klang to ask about Sophon fibre internet.  They said that was a different company, sbnnet, and directed me to their office on Pattaya Tai across from and up the street from Friendship.  Their plans turned out to be a bit pricey, so I said "No, thanks."

 

Today on a baht bus on Pattaya Klang I saw these banners hanging from a shop front near Third Road:

 

 

So, when I got home, I called.  It's apparently a *third* Sophon.  It's not Sophon Cable TV, and it's not sbnnet.

 

FWIW, the B799 plan is 20Mbps/5Mbps, it's only available in central Pattaya (not Jomtien), and only for houses (not condos.)

The clue is in the name

 

Sophon Cable TV is obviously not Sophon Broadband Networks

Same is true with AIS regular shops and AIS fibre.

 

As you noted, they're not offering a very good deal here.... 

Any links to a Sophon cable TV program guide?  Having a bit of trouble finding an accurate guide to shows to view, thank you.
