PATTAYA:-- CCTV footage caught clear images of a Pattaya woman from Walking Street making off with a young Russian's belongings.

She had drugged the 28 year old in a condo then pinched valuables and cash to the tune of 120,000 baht.

The Russian told Pattaya cops he had taken the woman called "O" from Walking Street in the early hours of the morning. CCTV showed them in the lift going up to a condo.

But the woman slipped a drug in the man's drink and he passed out.

She took a necklace, computer notebook, camera, iPad, phone and cash totalling 120,000 baht in value.

Two hours after the entry to the condo she was captured on CCTV wearing the victim's jacket and cap and carrying the bag of loot. She jumped on the back of a motorcycle and disappeared into the night.

A couple of years back there was this TV show called "Deadwood" starring Ian Mcshane and Timothy Olyphant, depicting a town with corruption, drinking, a fair bit of "love" for sale and lawlessness all around.
Supposed to occur around in the 1870' ties.. in the wild west.
Now, a 150 years later....Pattaya, the wild east !
History repeats itself , doesn't it

The only thing missing is a Chinaman feeding

bodies of unsuspecting tourists to the pigs.

About 300 years ago England used to have Highwaymen who would stop your carriage and demand money. Any resemblance to the BiB is purely unintended.

Never saw the series, but Tim Olyphant's dad is a good friend of mine. He  was a highly decorated Green Beret in Vietnam and lives an amazing life of adventure.  Everything from pearl farming in Tahiti to ranching and cattle farming along the Arizona /Mexico border.  Super great guy.

I did have a chuckle at your analogy. Good series too. Far more entertaining than here.
