visa exemption for koreans

Featured Replies

Hi all

Since the info on the internet is a bit confusing i hope some of you will help to clarify the subject.

Can Koreans get 90 days exemption via land border ? if so are the new regulations regarding the limitation of two times land entry is valid to Koreans as well?

Is it possible to extend 90 days visa exemption for extra 30 days (as given to 30 days visa exemption )  at chaengwattana ?

thanks in advance

Some crossings will not allow Koreans to do a border hop for a new entry.

Koreans are not eligible for a 30 day extension because they get their entries are from a bilateral agreement.

thank you

do you maybe know what are the borders that won't allow it and what are the borders the at most likelihood will not make any problems?

Poi Pet, Ban Laem and Ban Pakard crossing to Cambodia have been reported as turning Koreans away when trying to do border hop for a new entry.

All crossings to Laos and the remainder of the crossing to Cambodia  should not be a problem.
