webfact Posted January 5, 2017 Share Posted January 5, 2017 Two popular waterfalls closed as rains continue to lash Koh Samui Picture: Daily News KOH SAMUI: -- Two popular waterfalls that are tourist attractions on the holiday island of Koh Samui have been ordered closed. Samui district chief Phaiboon Omark said that the areas of Hin Lad and Na Meuang waterfalls were dangerous for locals and tourists alike. The area like much of the south has been lashed by heavy rains for weeks. Villagers in the Hin Lad area were even moving possessions to higher ground as flooding hit the area.
