Mourners advised to bring own food and water containers to Sanam Luang

BANGKOK, 7 January 2017 (NNT) – The Joint Administration Center for Maintaining Peace and Order has invited members of the public to bring their own food and water containers to Sanam Luang to reduce garbage around the Grand Palace.

Deputy First Army Area Commander Phongsawas Phanchit disclosed that from 7 January 2017, one bottle of water will be distributed to each mourner who was advised to keep a bottle of water so that it can be refilled.

Mourners are advised to bring their own food and water containers to help tackle an increased amount of garbage and to do good deeds as a tribute to the late His Majesty the King.
