TM30 and 1st extension of stay re Retirement

Featured Replies

I plan to go to CM Promenada in the last week of  January to do my first extension. I was there on re my last 90 notification Nov 1st and at that time submitted a TM30 (and TM 28) because i moved apartment.

My question is can i use that recent TM30 receipt in my passport when I go for the extension of stay, or must I get a fresh new TM 30 done, at the Airport Immigration office, get the new receipt, before I go Promenada. (I am still at the new location not moved since)

And a little off topic but may be helpful for some. I had to do my 90 day last time, was first in line no1, and when i went in they said oh you have go first go to the Airport immigration Office to get the TM28 and TM30 done, then come back. I learned the hard way, that they are not done at the same office or the same time. ha! A lesson learned. Went back and all done by 11.30am. They were not mean or anything, but it was unexpected to have to do that.

So back to my question about the TM30 and a little more info which may help get an accurate reply from some of you knowledgeable folks. My girlfriend submitted the TM30 before as I pay the rent in her room and she in turns rents it from the condo. The Immigration man said she could submit the TM30 last time along with a copy of her ID Card signed by her. It was adequate. Thanks for any relevant insight.I like positive answers not rants because i may have used the wrong terminology. Ha!

If you have not moved or left and re-entered the country since you did the TM30 you will not need to do another one.
