slippery when wet
Hello I own property in the uk which I currently rent out but I want to insure against possible malicious damage by any future tennant. All the insurance companies that I have contacted so far want to sell me buildings insurance and contents cover which I do not require as buildings cover is included in the appartment maintenence charge and I do not need contents insurance as I rent the flat out unfurnished. If anyone could possibly recomend any uk insurance company that offers this cover I would be very gratefull. Thank you
briley
Personally I doubt you can get malicious damage insurance for damage caused by the tenant. You cover for this in the deposit, 2 or even 3 months rental in advance should give you around £2,000 to play with. Regular checks by yourself/agent is also an insurance of kind.
