We are putting our children into a British International School in Thailand, we are stuck on which visa to apply for. We are not about to be employed by anyone in Thailand, our company is in the UK which we will keep.

 

Is there such a visa that if our children are schooled at an international school in Thailand we can apply for a visa so we don't have to keep doing the visa runs.

After your children are enrolled in the school have extension of stay from immigration you can apply for an extension based upon being their parents. Each parent would apply for the extension based upon one of the children since only extension is allowed per child.

Both of you would need 500k baht in a Thai bank for 30 days to apply for the first extension after that it will need to be in bank for 90 days.

You first need to apply for a single entry non-o at a embassy or consulate to apply for the extension.
