Only those found to be involved in the police academy’s entrance examination cheat will be disqualified, Pol Gen Detnarong Sutthicharnbancha, Royal Thai Police deputy commissioner-general, disclosed on Monday.

As chair of the panel investigating the exam cheat for enrollment into police academies staged in eight provincial police bureau and the metropolitan police bureau, he said the panel decided that only the candidates found involved in the fraud would be disqualified instead of scrapping the exam which would affect innocent candidates.

Exam cheats were confirmed in metropolitan and 7th provincial police bureau with over 200 people suspected to be involved, including the plotters, the unscrupulous candidates and “fake” candidates who were hired to sit the test and then to expose their answer sheets to be copied. Suspected cheat recently emerged in the first provincial police bureau’s exam.

Pol Gen Detnarong said that the panel would submit its probe report and recommendation to the police commissioner-general, Pol Gen Chakthip Chaichinda.

And what about the fee of 400.000 baht? Nobody arrested for that?

Only the exam cheats will be disqualified.

Well that means everybody, somehow someway they all were at it.

So how much does it cost to "not be involved"?

Sounds like the whole force is going to be disbanded then

There must be a leak in the higher positions.
How else is it possible that the right answers can be bought before.
Who develops the examinations and how are the examination documents managed internally?
Too bad that there is no further information.

Just call it an "advance" on their future.

Cancel all results and  redo the exam in a situation where cheating is not probable.

How do the authorities know if they caught all cheaters?
