January 18, 20179 yr Can a private limited company use a (wholly-owned by company owners) residential address as its registered office? Many thanks...
January 18, 20179 yr Yes. There are a some provisos though, which I have listed in order of difficulty: 1. You will need a company sign showing the business name and address. 2. If you are living at the address and you want a work permit, the Ministry of Labour will want a letter from a company director granting you permission to live at the address. 3. If you want to register for VAT you will need to take photos of the business in such a way that the Department of Revenue can see a functioning business. For a lot of businesses that means the company sign and photos of the office. 4. If you want an extension of stay based on business you will need photos of the signage, business and staff. Immigration at Chaeng Wattana are quite particular/fussy about this. Edited January 18, 20179 yr by blackcab
