BANGKOK: -- The medical science faculty of Ramathibodi Hospital conducted the first ever successful artificial heart transplant in Thailand.

The artificial heart, known as Heart Mate3, was inserted into the body of a patient who suffered from the final stage of heart failure to replace his failed heart.

The artificial heart was made of titanium and, therefore, there is no problem of body resistance. This is used for patients who are awaiting heart transplants.

"...please don't let them spoil it..." the headline is already leaning in that direction. Also, "first very successful" is inviting the obvious questions, how many not so/quite/un/relatively successful transplant attempts have there been?

Some of those responsible for the capture of Phra Dhammachayo are in desperate need of a new and improved ticker. They could look no further than the Ramathibodi Hospital. Well done doctors!

Yes this new artificial ticker definitely speeds up blood circulation to the brain. Coming soon to a police station near you.
