Help with non-immigrant O one year visa

Featured Replies

Help please!!!!!

My friend has a one year non-immigrant O visa issued to her in Denmark.  She has to leave the country every 90 days.  She has now been told by someone at her local travel agency that it is no longer possible to do an out/in run in one day.  have the rules changed?

thanks for any help on this.

There has been no change to the rules. She can leave and re-enter on the the same day.

Probably old info and/or confusion between visa exempt entries and having a valid visa for re-entry.

As said, no rule changes.

She can exit and return on the same day.

Maybe they are quoting the trouble at the Poi Pet border ??

Any changes to the Non immigrant 0  --1 year visa issued UK.    just prior to expiry can I still do a border run say 3 days before and receive a further 90 days  ?

Yes. That is what it is intended for.

Your friend will have no problem if flying out/in. The Aranyaprathet/Poi Pet land border have stopped out/in border hops, but she should be ok getting a new 90 days at most other land borders.
