I know the luggage limit for Etihad is 23kg, just wondered if anyone knew he restrictions for hand luggage on their flights. First time I've flown with them. Thanks.

I don't wish you to fall foul of the rules or encourage you to be a rule-breaker, but as a very regular flyer on Etihad through Bangkok, Abu Dhabi (of course), London Heathrow and Manchester, I can tell you I have never had my hand luggage weighed although the UK airports will check for size.

Yes, have finally confirmed with Etihad that it's 23kg checked luggage and 7kg carry on. It does seem dependent on where you're travelling to/from and what class you're flying in. I'm flying to Bangkok from the UK. Etihad's customer service is the hardest to get through to. I had to press options for first class travel not related to my enquiry to actually speak to a human being. Thanks all for your advice!

All the information is available when you book online with them, right on the booking screen.

Economy saver fare 1 pc 23kg

Economy classic fare 2 pc 23kg

Business class 2 pc 32 kg

No need to call support, use your brain, help yourself.

Also you are allowed a laptop bag/case in addition as carry-on without it affecting you weight limit
