I need to get there to pick up a vehicle,Is there a bus that goes direct to Saraburi without going via Bangkok.

I sincerely doubt it, but I could be wrong. My guess is you have to do a PTY->Morchit and then from there any bus going North would do.

Even if there is, it's probably faster to go via Morchit.  My wife will transit through Morchit on her way to Khon Kaen.  She says the bus from Pattaya is much slower and not as convenient.
