Metropolitan Police Bureau has announced the police cadets’ entrance examination with 1,000 candidates having passed the text and an addition of 141 put on reserve list.

All of them are required to report themselves to the police club tomorrow.

Of the 1,000 successful candidates, over 50 of them are cheaters against whom arrest warrants have been issued, said National deputy police chief, Pol Gen Detnarong Suthicharnbancha, on Monday.

He said that if these 50 plus cheaters show up they will be arrested immediately.

If you thought about it, you might realise that is the idea. The number of no-shows will likely be 200+ who think they are part of the nominated 50.

They will show up because they expect it will be ok because their Uncles told them, it was not them. Just add another 500 baht for the fee.

What they need is the old hot metal on the tongue, test,

for all of them,

It’s surprising that this is even news. Cheating on any type of exam or measurement is routine, expected and accepted virtually across the board. Receipt of a passing grade all too often indicates that one has satisfactorily demonstrated an ability to successfully ‘game’ the system. A necessary qualification for any number of jobs. In this case it would seem that cheating is not really the problem. More likely that someone in a position of authority didn’t get their proper cut and they are making their displeasure known.

Seems like it would have been easier to NOT publicly disclose the names and issuance of warrants, then just arrest them when they reported to the police club tomorrow? Or is that too "police-y"?

And how many failed the test ?

The 50 cheaters probably could not find the required " endorsement " fees after their results.

Where did you see the name's published?

That's not counting those that paid 400k to 'pass' that is not cheating is it :sleepy:
