Non O visa Extention

Featured Replies

I am Holding Non O Visa (Married to Thai Citizen), my visa end after 6 day, not yet applied for 1 year extension,

is there any chance to get 1 year extension in this last moment?

or any other way to stay in Thailand?

Thank you

You can go in right now, or right up to the last day, if they accept your paperwork you will get a 30 day temp stay while they decide your fate. If not, you can immediately apply for a 60 day extension, like I had to, now waiting for the last 30 days, now that they have accepted my fixes, but they won't accept the paperwork until I reach the last 30 days. So I am just waiting now, but feeling better about the outcome.

On this type of visa, then you can apply for an extension of stay and convert or apply or change to a marriage visa? This would last for one year, after you have been approved and meet all the regulations and requirements?

No they do not. Most don't require witnesses. They do a home visit instead of wanting witnesses at the office.

You simply apply for a extension of stay based upon marriage there is no conversion or change. There is no marriage visa only a non-o visa based upon marriage exists.

In my case, they accepted a witness statement form (Immigration Supplied), with a copy of the persons Thai ID and Blue Book. Just another option, at least at Nonthaburi.

Thanks for the clarification and insights...

Copy of your passport photo page, visa, entry stamp and TM6 departure card. One 4 X 6 cm photo for the TM7 application form.
